Host Family Accommodation
We provide an excellent choice of host family accommodation, based on half board (bed, breakfast and evening meal). Hostel/hotel accommodation can be arranged but is subject to availability and at extra cost.

As accommodation is a vital part of any successful training programme, we take great care to ensure that our host families are of the highest standard. All host families are carefully selected and regularly visited and we strive to provide the most suitable families for our student’s needs.

Families are responsible for the following:-
• to provide a welcoming and comfortable environment and ensure their welfare is always considered
• to provide a clean room and living conditions
• to advise students how to get to work (bus routes etc.)
• to provide one laundry service per week
• to provide a door key
• Breakfast & Dinner (in accordance to the booking)

Families can be booked for a minimum of 1 week up to the entire length of a student’s stay. If a family is booked for several weeks and the student decides to leave during this time, we ask that they give the family 2 weeks notice. (This does not apply if the student wishes to leave due to a complaint.) We take complaints very seriously, and follow a strict complaints procedure.

We can book twin rooms for students who are travelling together. We do not however book twin rooms, for individuals to share with other individuals.

Accommodation Payment
We request that we receive the accommodation fee at time of booking. Students can only book for the period they wish to stay with the host family. Host family accommodation is payable by us to the families. If students want to stay longer then they have paid for, they can, but we cannot guarantee the same host family.

Students will be sent their accommodation details at least two weeks before arrival. This will give a short description of the family i.e. children, pets etc.,. Students should contact their families prior to arrival, to confirm the approximate arrival time. We try, wherever possible, to match the requirements of students to host families and would ask that any special requests are made when booking the programme i.e. non-smoking, no pets, special diet etc.

We would ask that students appreciate that they are staying as a guest in someone’s home and they should try to fit in with the family wherever possible. Families may have set meal times etc., and students should be courteous when it is obvious that they will be unable to fit in with this routine. They need to telephone the family if they do not intend returning home for a meal, or if they are going to be home very late etc.
